Learn More About Our Dental Services
Preventive care is catching the problem before it becomes one. This is the easiest, least painful and least expensive option. We can provide our patients with tips, discuss important tools and provide the resources to help you have healthy teeth and gums. Whether you need guidance in dental hygiene or worry that you are just not genetically set up to have strong teeth, we can help.
Restorative care is restoring the health of teeth following damage. Teeth can become damaged in a variety of ways, they can be chipped, cracked, broken, subject to decay causing bacteria, or even just misaligned or misshapen. We care about your dental health, we don’t want you to be in pain, or be unable to chew or speak properly. There are things that can be done, and there are steps that we can take that fits every limitation, whether you have health, financial or anxiety barriers.
Cosmetic dentistry is work that is done to improve the look of a single tooth, multiple teeth, or even an entire mouth makeover. We find that some patients fear the word cosmetic, thinking that it will mean costly, but cosmetic dentistry emcompasses a wide variety of procedures, some smaller all the way up to larger, but all of them will make a difference in your smile. Cosmetic procedures can include teeth whitening, dental bonding, the placement of caps or dental crowns, to larger procedures that require surgical intervention, the topic is broad and we are happy to discuss treatments specific to your needs.
Sedation dentistry can include both conscious and unconscious options. Larger surgical procedures may require unconscious general anesthesia in a hospital setting, but most often patients require only a simple conscious sedative that can be administered in our office. This may include:
||Oral Sedatives: An oral sedative, meaning a prescribed pill or liquid drink, can be prescribed to ease a patient prior to a procedure being done. It is not given to put the patient to sleep, but to relax them often inducing sleepiness. An oral sedative can be a great tool to help a patient reduce anxiety and allow us to accomplish more tasks in one visit.
||Inhaled Sedative: Sometimes referred to as laughing gas, nitrous oxide can bring a patient calmness without the giggles. In decades past, patients were given a stronger dose bringing about the silliness, but today we use a blend that is mostly oxygen, making it considerably safer for our patients. Nitrous oxide is safe to use and patients love it because the effects wear off almost immediately once the inhalant is used, meaning they can often return to their regular activities just a short time following their procedure.
||Low and Medium Level IV: There are intravenous medications that can be administered without full sedation. These prescribed medications can provide you the calmness you need for your treatment without the need for hospital intervention.
Dental implants have changed the face of dentistry, and they can change your face too. You do not have to live with missing teeth. Dental implants are rapidly becoming the restoration of choice for patients missing a single tooth, multiple teeth, or even all of your teeth. We can design a solution that will dramatically improve your look and function.
Family Dentistry means that we provide services for the whole family! Why have different dentists? We are prepared to provide the care you need whether you’re two or 122.
Oral surgery encompasses a number of procedures in our practice. Some of the most common surgeries include the removal of wisdom teeth or other impacted teeth, biopsies and reconstructive surgery.
