COLD SORE TREATMENT

Cold sores and fever blisters are caused by the herpes simplex virus. They are typically preceded by such symptoms as tingling, itching or burning. Cold sores last for ten to fourteen days and are painful, irritating and embarrassing. They are also highly contagious and can be easily spread through kissing, touching or secondary contact with objects that have come in contact with a lesion.

There is now a one-time treatment that can not only stop cold sores from forming, but significantly shorten healing time. Our patients who have used Viroxyn™ to treat cold sore lesions have experienced fast healing and are very happy with the product. Viroxyn is a single application medication that stops the DNA/RNA replication and kills the virus that causes cold sores.
